Totalsports Women’s Race welcomes Metro FM as a broadcast partner

Metro FM, South Africa’s No1 Urban radio station, has teamed up with the Totalsports Women’s Race, South Africa’s largest Women’s Day Celebration, as the event’s broadcast partner.

For the first time since the event’s inception in 2001, runners in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town will unite by running together in support of PinkDrive on Friday, 09 August 2019 (National Women’s Day).

“We are proud to welcome Metro FM as the broadcast partner of the Totalsports Women’s Race,” says Patrick Singh, Head of Totalsports Marketing.  “Together with Metro FM’s support we are guaranteed to generate much needed exposure for PinkDrive and their very important message that early detection saves lives.   We look forward to hosting SA’s largest Women’s Day Celebration in three cities on one day.  We invite all runners to join in on the fun, help us prove that we are #StrongerTogether.”

Charity SupportThe Totalsports Women’s Race proudly supports PinkDrive, a Non-Profit Company (NPC) that is committed to improving breast cancer awareness, education, and providing and offering free services to the medically uninsured across South Africa. PinkDrive will be present at the Totalsports Women’s Race (Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town) offering FREE clinical breast examinations and educating on the importance of self- breast examinations.
