The streets of Johannesburg will be teaming with runners and walkers dressed in pink on Wednesday, 09 August 2017 (National Women’s Day) as they toe the line at the annual Totalsports Women’s Race where they’ll #RunForLife in support of PinkDrive.

“The Johannesburg route is slightly more challenging than that of the Durban and Cape Town events,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports.  “There will be a little more climbing, with the toughest part featuring at round about the 5km mark at the Constitution Hill section.  Iconic landmarks to look out for on route will include:  the Oriental Plaza, the Constitutional Court of South Africa, the Johannesburg Theatre and the Nelson Mandela Bridge to mention just a few.  The Totalsports Women’s Race embraces the true spirit of Johannesburg.  In additional to the iconic landmarks, runners and walkers can also look forward to lively on route performances and an extraordinary vibe.”
