Returning to Durban on Sunday, 20 July 2014 the much loved Totalsports Ladies Race will support PinkDrive, a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) that is committed to promoting breast cancer awareness and providing breast health education and services to men and women across South Africa.
“PinkDrive has been present at both the Totalsports Ladies Race in Johannesburg and Stellenbosch for the last three years. We are very excited to extend this relationship to Durban,” says Noelene Kotschan, Founder and CEO PinkDrive. “PinkDrive is truly grateful to the Totalsports Ladies Race for having made us the official beneficiary of the Durban event. Public-private partnerships are vital to the overall success of our ambitious dreams of ultimately creating a fully-fledged women’s health service offering”.
“We encourage all Durbanites and out of town visitors participating in the race to ‘pimp themselves pink’ at the PinkDrive Shop4Cancer stand,” continues Kotschan. “For a mere R20 donation runners stand the chance to win super sponsored prizes, such as a weekend away at a Protea Hotel, a car hire from Budget Rent a Car, exciting pink hampers and more. We will also be conducting free clinical breast examinations on the day. The Totalsports Ladies Races are well organised and action packed”.
With two events to choose from, a 5km run/fun walk and a 10km run/fun walk, the Totalsports Ladies Race Durban is ideal for the whole family, from moms with prams, children, husbands, family and friends.
