The Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2023! With the festival village based at the Coetzenburg Stellenbosch University, entrants are advised to prepare for a wicked party on and off the bike come Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 November 2023.

Stellenbosch’s vast network of world-class and exclusive trails will always be the foundation of the event which already makes it fantastic, but this year we are geared to shake up the magnificent city of Stellenbosch by bringing the ‘MTB Party’ home. Together with Savanna and First Ascent we look forward to taking SA’s ‘MTB Party of the Year’ to the next level in November.”

Affectionately dubbed ‘SA’s MTB Party of the Year’, the Savanna Origin of Trails is an individual 2-Day MTB Stage Race that highlights the beauty and splendor of Stellenbosch. Mountain bikers will be treated to a vast network of world-class and exclusive trails while celebrating the origin of SA mountain biking.
