The fast, flat route of the Totalsports Women’s Race in Durban is guaranteed to deliver a multitude of personal best finishing times on Sunday, 17 July 2016.

“Runners can expect to run a personal best at the Totalsports Women’s Race in Durban,” says Hendrico Burger, Totalsports Women’s Race Technical Manager.  “The route is fast, flat and scenic.  Running through the Beachfront Promenade and Umgeni River Estuary makes the Durban route extra special.  Other iconic landmarks to look out for will include the impressive Moses Mabhida Stadium, the Green Hub by the river and the Durban Country Club. ”

PUMA ambassadors, Lebo and Lebogang Phalula will join thousands of runners on the start line at the Berea Rovers Sports Club.  In 2015 the twin sisters were a true symbol of unity crossing the finish line together in a time of 33 minutes 44 seconds.

“Instead of running against each other, we wanted to run together and cross the finish line together,” said Lebo.

For Lebogang, running in Durban is always enjoyable.  “I felt comfortable running with my sister.  The Totalsports Women’s Race is really well organised.  I love it.”
