North West Province – Fedhealth is excited to expand its footprint in the mountain biking and trail running arena by announcing its title sponsorship of two of the Magaliesberg’s most revered off-road events, the Magalies Monster MTB Classic and Platinum Trail Run.
With the Title Sponsorship announcement, comes the welcomed news that Cape Town based Sports Marketing Agency, Stillwater Sports, will once again take the reins in organising both iconic events.
“We are excited to welcome Fedhealth as the title sponsor of the 18th annual Fedhealth Magalies Monster MTB Classic and the 8th annual Fedhealth Platinum Trail Run,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports. “Fedhealth is passionate about healthy living, the outdoors and quality time with family. The Magalies Monster and Platinum Trail Run tick all three boxes. Catering for adventure seekers of all ages, the events take place on the Saturday and Sunday respectively, making it the perfect weekend breakaway for families.”
“The Fedhealth Magalies Monster MTB Classic and the Fedhealth Platinum Trail Run are renowned for their routes,” continue Meyer. “Featuring the best off-road routes on offer in the North West Province, both events possess a perfect balance between challenge and reward. Mountain bikers can choose between a +-16km, +-33km and +-65km route, while trail runners can choose between a +-8km, +-12km and +-24km distance. For an added challenge, why not sign up for both the Magalies Monster and Platinum Trail Run. There is also a ‘kids event’ on both days. Families can look forward to experiencing spectacular trails that are complemented by magnificent scenery and a vibrant festival atmosphere. It’s the perfect family weekend away in June.”
