Durbanville, Western Cape – Mountain bike (MTB) enthusiasts are in for a treat at the second annual Fedhealth MTB Challenge that will take place this coming weekend at the picturesque Meerendal Wine Estate.

Junior MTB enthusiasts can choose between a 500m, 1.5km and 5km Fun Ride. On Sunday, 04 September 2016 the more serious mountain bikers will get to enjoy the magnificent trails on offer in the Durbanville Winelands.”
“Durbanville is the centre of the Northern Suburbs MTB hub,” continues Meyer. “The 2016 Fedhealth MTB Challenge route incorporates the best of the famous Tygerberg MTB trails, including routes that are normally closed to the general public. Entrants can look forward to a special MTB experience that includes magnificent views of the ocean, Robben Island and Table Mountain. The changing of the seasons will also add to the ambiance with the route currently boasting various shades of yellow and green.”
