The organisers of two of the North West Province’s most respected off-road events, the Fedhealth Magalies Monster MTB Classic and Fedhealth Platinum Trail Run are proud to continue supporting The Kindness Collaboration in 2023.
Founded by Fedhealth and Operation Healing Hands (OHH), The Kindness Collaboration offers much needed support to South Africans who cannot afford quality medical care.
“We are extremely proud to continue supporting the fantastic role that The Kindness Collaboration fulfils,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports. “It’s a sad reality that not all South Africans have access to or can afford quality medical care. Thanks to Fedhealth and OHH, The Kindness Collaboration offers a much needed helping hand to these families. It is an honour to support this fantastic initiative and we would like to urge mountain bikers and trail runners alike to do the same by donating towards the cause when entering the Fedhealth Magalies Monster MTB Classic and/or Fedhealth Platinum Trail Run online.”
Says Jeremy Yatt, Fedhealth Principal Officer: “Fedhealth proudly partnered with OHH, a charity started by a group of doctors, to launch The Kindness Collaboration. The project sees us, working closely with OHH, our members, brokers and service providers, to raise the funds needed to cover preventative and life-saving screenings and procedures of South Africans who cannot afford quality medical care. We are proud to put our name and backing behind a project that raises funds to cover the cost of preventative and life-saving screenings and/or surgeries.”
More about The Kindness Collaboration: The Kindness Collaboration is a joint initiative between Fedhealth and OHH. All medical professionals associated with OHH provide their time and skills for free; the funds raised go towards expenses such as consumables and random medical expenses.
EXCITING NEWS: Entrants that donate R400 or more towards The Kindness Collaboration will receive a rider jersey compliments of OHH and Fedhealth.
