The much-anticipated Absa RUN YOUR CITY WARM UP RUN #5 powered by PUMA NITRO will take place at the Green Point Athletics Stadium this coming Thursday 12 May 2022 at 17:30.
The final Warm Up Run to take place before the 7th annual Absa RUN YOUR CITY CAPE TOWN 10K takes the Mother City by storm on Sunday 15 May 2022, the Absa RUN YOUR CITY WARM UP RUN #5 powered by PUMA NITRO is open to runners of all ages and is free of charge.
“We would like to invite all runners and Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series supporters to join us for a fun 5km run (or walk) on Thursday,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and Founder of the Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series. “As it’s the last Warm Up Run before the event, we’ve decided to host it in the afternoon at 17:30. Once the 5km run is completed, runners and walkers are invited to stick around and get to know the team and sponsors a bit better.”
“As with the previous four Warm Up Runs, there will once again be awesome prizes up for grabs compliments of the event’s footwear and apparel partner, PUMA,” confirms Meyer. “On completing the run, remember to collect, fill out and hand in your lucky draw ticket. These prizes will include (but are not limited to) a PUMA hamper to the value of
R 5 000, a pair of PUMA NITRO Running Shoes and a selection of PUMA apparel items. You only need to do three things: 1. BRING THE GEES, 2. run/walk 5km and 3. fill in the lucky draw ticket.
