“Let Nature Give You A Run For Your Money”
Entries are open for South Africa’s premier three day stage trail run, the Cell C AfricanX Trailrun presented by ASICS.
Taking place the weekend of 17 – 19 March 2017, teams of two trail running enthusiasts (male/female/mixed) will be seen battling it out on a route varying in distance between 22km – 34km each day.
According to Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports, the Cell C AfricanX Trailrun presented by ASICS attracted a record field of entrants in 2016, most of which were newcomers to the event. “This is truly exciting for us as event organisers,” continues Meyer. “Our goal is to build on this excitement. Taking into account the valued feedback received from runners, our team is already hard at work planning an event that will exceed all expectations. Together with the support of our valued sponsors, we look forward to welcoming runners to the start line in 2017.”

2017 Event Information: Participants will have the opportunity to tackle a different breath-taking scenic route each day, allowing them to enjoy the full beauty of the Overberg.

Entries are open, but are LIMITED to 350 teams. An early bird entry fee will apply to the first 100 teams that enter.
There are three entry options:
- R3200 per person – this includes breakfast and lunch, but excludes dinner and accommodation
- R3750 per person – this includes breakfast lunch and dinner, but excludes accommodation.
- R4300 per person – this includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and tented accommodation at Houw Hoek.
